GreenCare for Troops is a program designed to connect the green industry (local lawn and landscape companies) with military women and men serving our country in the Middle East. This program is intended to help families maintain their homes' green spaces while the lead breadwinner is on duty in the Middle East. Project EverGreen's mission is to "raise the awareness of the environmental, economic, and lifestyle benefits of landscapes and promote the significance of those who preserve and enhance green spaces at home, work and play."

Shear Scapes, Inc. of Woodbridge, VA has chosen to participate in this program to continue our support for the troops who serve our country and their families. Since 2000, Shear Scapes, Inc. has provided support for military families through services such as memorial gardens and lawn care. GreenCare for Troops is an additional opportunity for Shear Scapes, Inc. to show local military families how much we appreciate their chosen careers.
